A number of manufacturers and distributors throughout the structural finishing industry state that their paints, plasters, and mortars are "truly green" and "all-natural products." However, upon closer inspection, many of these products fall short of these claims.
Be assured that the bioLime, Inc. and IgeaCalce SRL partnership is working towards certification with the international body as ISO 14001 for sustainable practices and ISO 9001/2000 for quality management practices. bioLime is true green and all natural.
In addition, we are working towards compliance with the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), a voluntary group that acknowledges organizations that continually improve their environmental performance. EMAS registered organizations are legally compliant, operate an environment-management system, and report on their environmental performance through the publication of an independently verified environmental statement.
The above certifications are in progress at this time, and bioLime is working further toward certifications with other accredited and well-respected governing agencies in the GreenBuild product sector as we introduce our product line.
